Born in 1993 in Hagen, Joshua J. Krull spent his early years in Mexico, growing up between two cultures. After graduating from high school in 2011, he gained experience as a production assistant on Libertador – The Liberator (WMG Film GmbH). In 2014, he produced the short film The Heavy Load, starring Gary Lewis.

From 2014 to 2017, he studied directing at Septima Ars in Madrid, where he worked on several films, including The Sands of Summers Past (2017), shot in the UK. At the same time, he worked as a commercial director for imagis Filmproduktion and directed the master’s graduation film Psykhe at Film University Babelsberg in 2019.

In 2022, he directed and co-produced the Latin American series pilot Ni Tan Raro. Since 2020, he has been a partner at imagis, becoming Head of Fiction in 2024. In 2023, he completed the "Film Production Management" certificate program (Erich Pommer Institute & Film University Babelsberg) with top marks (1.3).

Joshua Krull is a member of the German Directors Association (BvR) and the German Producers Association (BvP).

Marcus Goldhahn is a Berlin-based independent film producer, documentary filmmaker, and photojournalist with more than ten years of experience in the audiovisual industry. He works on fictional and documentary projects that not only depict social conflicts but also tell their stories from the perspective of the people directly affected by them. His work focuses on social tensions, issues of equality, and environmental responsibility – combined with a clear, authentic visual language and a keen sense for personal, character-driven stories.

In addition to his work on TV dramas, streaming series, and feature films, Marcus develops and produces his own (short) films, documentaries, and photojournalistic works, which have been screened internationally and have won awards. Close and responsible collaboration with his protagonists is important to him: His films aim to portray people in a nuanced way, open up new perspectives, and have an impact beyond the screen. In doing so, Marcus combines precision with cinematic artistry and a commitment to maintaining his creative independence even within complex collaborative relationships. He is a member of the European Film Academy.
