Synopsis

Domino tells the story of twelve-year-old LUCA, whose world feels like it’s falling apart. After losing her father two years ago, she now stands at her mother’s funeral, feeling numb. As per her mother’s wishes, she moves in temporarily with her Uncle MICHAEL in the small town of Schrozberg — until a foster family is found for her back in Freiburg.
At her new school, Luca struggles to fit in, but everything changes when she stumbles upon an abandoned cinema and befriends SAMUEL and DESTINY. Together, they discover that buffalo breeder THOMAS is sabotaging the cinema with a fake rat infestation to buy the land for his restaurant. Determined to save it, the kids decide to make a film that will captivate the town—and even convince pop star NOAH to star in it.
As they dive into filmmaking, friendships deepen, and Luca begins to feel at home. But when setbacks threaten their movie and her chance to stay, she must find the strength to keep going. Synopsis

Synopsis

Final Exposure follows JONAH MORGENSTERN (38), a disillusioned asylum officer with a passion for photography, who finds a dark outlet for his artistic expression after photographing a fatal accident. Unable to publish the image, he begins staging murders, capturing the deaths on camera. His first victim is TUGCE, a young asylum seeker, and he anonymously shares his work online under the alias “MArMOr1997.” As his fame grows, so does his belief that his art justifies his crimes.

Meanwhile, detectives DIRK MATAN (39) and EDITA ČERNÁ (28) investigate a series of murders that seem to be connected, but Jonah remains hidden behind his artistic success. As the detectives uncover disturbing links, Edita begins to suspect that Dirk may be hiding dark secrets from his past. The truth comes to light when Jonah’s childhood connection to Dirk, as “Moritz,” is revealed.

Jonah’s final victim is Ada, with whom he is having an affair. In a dramatic showdown, he lures Dirk and Ada to a ruin tied to their past, where past and present collide. As Jonah is finally captured, Katharina, his wife, kills him before he can be tried. The investigation leaves Dirk facing the unraveling of his career and the haunting memories of his youth.

The film started as a personal project about my grandfather’s unique trauma as the son of a Nazi. Forgetting is the first step to repeating mistakes—that’s why we must learn from the traumas of past generations.

Synopsis

“Bis Wir Uns Wiedersehen (Until We Meet Again)” tells the story of six teenagers who meet at an illegal party in an abandoned quarry on a scorching summer night in Leipzig. They soon become close friends, regularly gathering at the alternative youth center, “Conne Island”.
After a wild house party, one of the teens collapses from alcohol poisoning and ends up in the hospital. Fearing the consequences from their parents and authorities, the group decides to run away together. They take shelter in an abandoned signal tower at a freight yard, but as police and media pressure intensifies, they flee by hopping onto a freight train, heading to the Czech border.
In the Mountains, they settle into a cave, experiencing adventures and challenges that strengthen their friendships. They share their first loves and face conflicts that test their bond.
When one of them suddenly disappears and a violent storm hits them, they decide to leave the forest. Back at the freight yard, they discover a graffiti message left by their missing friend: “UNTIL WE MEET AGAIN!”
